About Us

Personal Attention

Working one-on-one with each customer allows us the time

it takes to educate you about quality diamonds and

gemstones, and what is involved in creating that "one-of-a-

kind" design that is EXACTLY what you had in mind. Taking

time to know what you are buying and knowing that quality

will always last, lets you appreciate even more our attention

to every detail of your jewelry buying experience. You'll

never regret a purchase you made that gives you unique

custom design, superior quality craftsmanship and honest

value. Maintaining that "brand new look" with routine

inspection and cleaning is all part of our service to you.

Generations to come will appreciate the time and care you

took to create and care for your work of art.

Dutch Pfitzer, Goldsmith

Dutch started in a wholesale trade shop after graduating

from high school in 1972, in Spokane, Washington. After

mastering the basics, he moved on the another local trade

shop and fine tuned his goldsmith skills to include all forms

of diamond and gemstone setting. In order to complete his

training, one final move was made. Custom design, wax

carving and casting along with extensive customer service

and management skills rounded out his career training.

All his training came from the best in the Spokane area and

he will always be grateful to those who helped him achieve

his goal of opening "Artistry in Gold". He is admired by many

in his field and has a loyal customer following. If it can be

carved, set, soldered or repaired, Dutch is the man to do it.

Thank you for your professionalism and skill in fabricating my military ring. Dutch, your craftsmanship is superb. Your workmanship with the globe, arrow to the six continents, and the diamond setting is beautiful. Laurie did a great job of coordinating the different processes and stages of development. Leah did an excellent job in advising on proper ring size for a perfect fit—a very important fact with this heavy ring. There’s a synergy with you all working together as a team.
